Michigan High School Basketball - Marion overwhelms Brethren
February 15, 2023: Brethren, MI 49619 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Marion Eagles (Marion, MI) and the host Brethren Bobcats (Brethren, MI), saw Marion's basketball squad wallop Brethren by a tally of 55-30.
With the victory, Marion improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a West Michigan D challenge on Friday, February 17. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Mason County Eastern lost 62-45 in their recent league challenge against Baldwin (Baldwin, MI)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Bear Lake Lakers (Bear Lake, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Friday, February 17. Brethren will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 55-34 league loss to Catholic Central (Manistee, MI).
