Mississippi High School Basketball - Winona Christian nips Christian Collegiate Academy
February 15, 2023: Winona, MS 38967 Winona Christian Stars (Winona, MS) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Christian Collegiate Academy Bulldogs (Gulfport, MS), 49-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Winona Christian upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Stars travel to St. Joseph (Greenville, MS) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 18-3. St. Joseph won 53-45 in their recent non-league bout against Canton Academy (Canton, MS)
