The Desert Scorpions basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting East Bakersfield Blades to 42 in the Scorpions non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Scorpions now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coalinga for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Desert will battle a Horned Toads team coming off a 51-26 non-league win over Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Horned Toads record now stands at 16-13.
