The Pamlico County Hurricanes basketball team (Bayboro, NC), dropped 54-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC)

The Mariners now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southside for a 1A/2A Conference 3 battle on Friday, February 17. East Carteret will battle a Seahawks team coming off a 64-51 league win over Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Seahawks record now stands at 22-5.
