Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), 45-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hopkinton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Prospect Mountain won 51-49 in their recent league bout against Berlin (Berlin, NH)
