Camden Catholic Fighting Irish (Cherry Hill, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ), 42-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Camden Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Silver Knights play the Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders (Pennsauken, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. Sterling will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record.
