Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA), 8-1 in a non-league battle.

The Nighthawks now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host King for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 21. Murrieta Valley will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 17. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
