Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Mankato East defeated by Albert Lea
February 15, 2023: Albert Lea, MN 56007 Albert Lea Tigers (Albert Lea, MN) followers left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Mankato East Cougars (Mankato, MN), 3-0 in a league match.
The Tigers (16-4) will now prepare for their match against Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Spartans enter the Big 9 match with a 12-4 record. In their last match, Mayo tipped Mankato West (Mankato, MN), 8-1, in a league match.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN) in a Big 9 match, on Saturday, February 18. Mankato East will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 7-7 record after their 4-1 league win over Red Wing (Red Wing, MN).
