Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) fans left the game thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT), 3-2 in a non-league match.

The Rams (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Eastern CT Eagles (Groton, CT). The enter the Nutmeg Conference match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Eastern CT Eagles was nipped by North Branford (North Branford, CT), 5-1, in a non-league match.
