California High School Lacrosse - Chaparral drops to Santiago

Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA), 15-1 in a non-league battle.

The Sharks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Temecula Valley for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 22. Santiago will clash with a Golden Bears squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 3-0.

In their next game, the Pumas clash with the Paloma Valley Wildcats (Menifee, CA) in a Ivy battle, on Thursday, February 16. Chaparral will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Corona (Corona, CA).
