February 15, 2024: Cartersville, GA 30120 The Cartersville Hurricanes crushed the visiting Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs baseball team by a count of 13-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Hurricanes now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. Cartersville will face a Wolverines team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-1.
Next, the Mustangs face the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Kennesaw Mountain will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Chiefs enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA).
