Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Carver Montgomery Wolverines (Montgomery, AL) and the visiting Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL), saw Carver Montgomery's basketball squad hold off Russell County by a tally of 64-57.

With the victory, Carver Montgomery improves its record to 16-14 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Park Crossing (Montgomery, AL) to confront the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 17-11. Park Crossing won 46-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Lanier (Montgomery, AL)
