In Thursday's league match, the host Pine Ridge Thorpes basketball team scored a decisive 79-41 triumph over the Todd County Falcons.

In their next game, the Thorpes meet the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 17. Pine Ridge will attempt to better on its 18-1 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 12-7 record after their 75-57 non-league win over Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD).

With the defeat, Todd County moves to 6-13 on the year. The Falcons travel to Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD) to meet the Black Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, February 19. The Black Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-9. Platte/Geddes won 40-31 in their recent league match against Wagner (Wagner, SD)
