Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), 63-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Ridgeview upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Central Wise (Norton, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Central Wise won 65-43 in their recent non-league bout against Gate City (Gate City, VA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Abingdon will attempt to upgrade on its 19-6 season record. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 36-33 non-league loss to Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA).
