February 15, 2024: Pierz, MN 56364 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN) and the visiting Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN), saw Pierz's basketball squad wallop Aitkin by a tally of 64-23.
With the victory, Pierz improves its record to 9-14 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Little Falls (Little Falls, MN) to confront the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Flyers come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Little Falls won 61-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Swanville (Swanville, MN)
Next up, the Gobblers confront the Detroit Lakes Lakers (Detroit Lakes, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Aitkin will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 75-42 non-league loss to Perham (Perham, MN).
