New Jersey High School Basketball - Secaucus knocked off by Union City
February 15, 2024: Union City, NJ 07087 The Union City Soaring Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Secaucus Patriots to 38 in the Soaring Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Soaring Eagles now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bayonne for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Union City will battle a Bees team coming off a 54-41 non-league win over Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ). The Bees record now stands at 19-4.
The Patriots (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Redhawks enter the non-league contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Parsippany was defeated by High Point (Sussex, NJ), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
