Texas High School Softball - Alvin bounces Georgetown
February 15, 2024: Alvin, TX 77511 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX) and the visiting Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX), witnessed Alvin's softball squad tip Georgetown by a count of 5-1.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Kingwood for a non-league match on Friday, February 16. Alvin will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Georgetown moves to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Warren (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, February 16. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 1-2. Warren lost 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Langham Creek (Houston, TX)
