Texas High School Softball - Dawson bounces Weatherford
February 15, 2024: Weatherford, TX 76087 Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. Dawson will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Weatherford falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Kangaroos host Clear Creek (League City, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Clear Creek lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Southwest (San Antonio, TX)
