Texas High School Softball - Salado bounces Early
February 15, 2024: Early, TX 76802 Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Early Longhorns (Early, TX), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boyd for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. Salado will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over City View (Wichita Falls, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Early falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Fossil Ridge won 13-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX)
