In Saturday's non-league game, the host Manchester Academy Mavericks baseball team scored a nice 17-0 win over the Yazoo County Panthers.

The Mavericks (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Central Hinds Academy was overwhelmed by Leake Academy (Madden, MS), 9-1, in a non-league game.
