Illinois High School Basketball - Maroa-Forsyth holds off Argenta-Oreana
February 15, 2025: Maroa, IL 61756 The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Argenta-Oreana Bombers to 62 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now possess a 11-13 record. They play next when they host Riverton for a Sangamo game on Tuesday, February 18. Maroa-Forsyth will confront a Hawks team coming off a 56-46 non-league loss to Waltonville (Waltonville, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 20-8.
With the loss, Argenta-Oreana falls to 14-12 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL) to confront the Broncos in a Lincoln Prairie game on Tuesday, February 18.
