In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bakersfield Drillers basketball team scored a big 85-59 triumph over the Redwood Rangers.

The Drillers (20-10) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Fresno, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league contest with a 18-12 record. In their last contest, Central smashed Tulare Western (Tulare, CA), 81-50, in a non-league contest.
