The Hersey Huskies basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Carmel Corsairs to 38 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Huskies now have a 21-5 record. They play next when they host Palatine for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Hersey will confront a Pirates team coming off a 66-52 league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 16-13.

With the loss, Carmel falls to 10-18 on the campaign. The Corsairs travel to Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL) to confront the Caxys in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Caxys go into the game with a record of 22-6. Lake Forest Academy lost 44-37 in their recent non-league game against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL)
