Mississippi High School Basketball - Yazoo County can't hold off East Webster
February 15, 2025: Maben, MS 39750 East Webster Wolverines (Maben, MS) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Yazoo County Panthers (Yazoo City, MS), 61-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, East Webster advances its record to 16-7 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Booneville (Booneville, MS) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 25-4. Booneville won 65-41 in their recent non-league match against Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS)
The Panthers now own a 10-15 record.
