The Melrose Buffaloes bounced the host Elida Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 86-32 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Buffaloes clash with the Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) in a non-league outing, on Monday, February 17. Melrose will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record. The Wolverines come into the outing with a 20-2 record after their 77-50 league win over Hagerman (Hagerman, NM).
