Missouri High School Basketball - Halfway sneaks past Sacred Heart
February 15, 2025: Sedalia, MO 65301 The Halfway Cardinals (Halfway, MO) basketball edged the host Sacred Heart Gremlins (Sedalia, MO), 53-51 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 18-4 record. They play next when they travel to Macks Creek for a Polk County bout on Tuesday, February 18. Halfway will play a Pirates team coming off a 44-37 league win over Fair Play (Fair Play, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 6-18.
With the loss, Sacred Heart falls to 16-5 on the campaign. The Gremlins host Otterville (Otterville, MO) to play the Eagles in a Kaysinger bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-9.
