South Dakota High School Basketball - Viborg/Hurley trounced by Rapid City Christian
February 15, 2025: Rapid City, SD 57702 Rapid City Christian Comets (Rapid City, SD) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD), 59-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Rapid City Christian advances its record to 16-2 on the year. The Comets host Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 13-5. Spearfish won 52-45 in their recent non-league match against Custer (Custer, SD)
The Cougars now own a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scotland/Menno for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 18. Viborg/Hurley will encounter a Trappers team coming off a 75-65 non-league loss to Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD). The Trappers record now stands at 3-14.
