New York High School Basketball - Palmyra-Macedon sneaks past Fairport
February 15, 2025: Palmyra, NY 14522 The Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) basketball edged the visiting Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY), 67-62 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Red Raiders now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Newark for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East bout on Wednesday, February 19. Palmyra-Macedon will play a Reds team coming off a 53-27 league win over Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Reds record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Fairport falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Victor (Victor, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a Section 5 Monroe 2 bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Victor lost 52-39 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY)
