The Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) ice hockey held off the host St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), 6-5 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Falcons now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame Prep for a Southern Connecticut - DI outing on Sunday, February 16. Xavier will encounter a Lancers team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Notre Dame (West Haven, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 6-10.

With the defeat, St. Joseph moves to 5-11 on the season. The Cadets host Darien (Darien, CT) to encounter the Blue Wave in a FCIAC outing on Monday, February 17. The Blue Wave go into the outing with a record of 10-2. Darien won 4-2 in their recent league outing against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT)
