The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) and the visiting Lamar Texans (Houston, TX), observed Little Cypress-Mauriceville's softball team prevail over Lamar by a tally of 21-2.

The Bears (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Nederland (Nederland, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Nederland knocked off Hudson (Lufkin, TX), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
