Maryland High School Basketball - Severn School tops Friends
February 16, 2022: Baltimore, MD 21210 Severn School Admirals (Severna Park, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD), 49-37 in a league bout.
With the victory, Severn School upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Admirals travel to St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD) to play the Saints in a MIAA B bout on Friday, February 18. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 23-7. St. Mary's won 60-54 in their recent league bout against Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD)
Next up, the Quakers play the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 18. Friends will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 58-55 league loss to Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD).
