February 16, 2023: Bloomfield, CT 06002 The Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) basketball knocked off the host Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons (Bloomfield, CT), 58-47 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, Windsor Locks notched a victory over Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT), 81-65, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Parish Hill for a Capitol Region test on Friday, February 17. Metropolitan Learning Center will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 72-63 league loss to Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT). The Pirates record now stands at 0-15.
