South Dakota High School Basketball - Viborg/Hurley fells Howard
February 16, 2023: Viborg, SD 57070 Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Howard Tigers (Howard, SD), 59-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Viborg/Hurley upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 14-3. St. Mary won 70-62 in their recent non-league bout against Baltic (Baltic, SD)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-17 record after their 59-40 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, SD).
