Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans (Chesapeake, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), 65-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Veritas Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Pathways (Orlando, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 29-7.
