Kansas High School Basketball - Overland Christian nudges Liberty Christian Academy

Overland Christian Eagle (Overland Park, KS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Liberty Christian Academy Eagles (Wright City, MO), 58-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Overland Christian upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Eagle travel to Eagle Ridge Christian (Cape Girardeau, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Eagle Ridge Christian lost 59-36 in their recent non-league bout against Westwood Baptist Academy (Poplar Bluff, MO)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Heritage Classical Christian Academy Hawks (Fenton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Liberty Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-20 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 54-30 non-league loss to Eagle Ridge Christian (Cape Girardeau, MO).
