Michigan High School Basketball - Pinckney tops South Lyon
February 16, 2023: South Lyon, MI 48178 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI) and the host South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), saw Pinckney's basketball squad knock off South Lyon by a tally of 57-38.
With the victory, Pinckney improves its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Pirates host Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI) to play the Indians in a Southeastern - White challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Tecumseh won 59-45 in their recent league challenge against Adrian (Adrian, MI)
Next up, the Lions play the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Friday, February 24. South Lyon will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 57-50 league win over Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI).
