Kentucky High School Basketball - North Laurel fells Owsley County
February 16, 2023: Booneville, KY 41314 North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY), 76-64 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Laurel upgrades its record to 24-6 on the season. The Jaguars host Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY) to clash with the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Oneida Baptist Institute won 33-26 in their recent non-league bout against Cordia (Hazard, KY)
Next up, the Owls / Lady Owls clash with the Lynn Camp Wildcats (Corbin, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Owsley County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 69-49 non-league win over Mount Pisgah Christian Academy (Oliver Springs, TN).
