Indiana High School Basketball - Andrean knocked off by Munster
February 16, 2024: Munster, IN 46321 The Munster Mustangs basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Andrean Fighting 59ers to 39 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hanover Central for a Northwest Crossroads contest on Tuesday, February 20. Munster will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 58-54 league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-10.
The Fighting 59ers (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hammond Central (Hammond, IN). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Hammond Central ran past Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN), 78-64, in a non-league contest.
