South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary over Baltic
February 16, 2024: Baltic, SD 57003 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) and the host Baltic Bulldogs (Baltic, SD), saw St. Mary's basketball squad overcome Baltic by a tally of 62-53.
With the victory, St. Mary improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD) to play the Elks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Elkton/Lake Benton lost 55-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Deubrook (White, SD)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Monday, February 19. Baltic will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 68-60 league loss to McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD).
