The Basha Bears basketball team scored 84 points and restricted the visiting Mesquite Wildcats to 51 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Desert Mountain for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Basha will battle a Wolves team coming off a 75-52 non-league win over Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 21-7.

The Wildcats (21-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 18-8 record. In their last contest, Bradshaw Mountain triumphed over Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ), 67-65, in a non-league contest.
