Indiana High School Basketball - Hammond Central tops Calumet New Tech

Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN), 78-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hammond Central upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Wolves host Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to play the Fighting 59ers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Fighting 59ers come into the bout with a record of 11-10. Andrean lost 58-39 in their recent league bout against Munster (Munster, IN)

Next up, the Warriors play the Lighthouse College Prep Academy Lions (Gary, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Calumet New Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
