February 16, 2024: Elbert, CO 80106 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Simla Cubs (Simla, CO) and the host Elbert Bulldogs (Elbert, CO), saw Simla's basketball squad wallop Elbert by a tally of 74-45.
With the victory, Simla improves its record to 18-0 on the campaign. The Cubs host Kit Carson (Kit Carson, CO) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Kit Carson lost 59-46 in their recent league challenge against Cheyenne Wells (Cheyenne Wells, CO)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Colorado Springs School Kodiaks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 2A Black Forrest challenge, on Saturday, February 17. Elbert will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Kodiaks come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Fountain Valley (Colorado Springs, CO).
