Missouri High School Basketball - Willow Springs tops Houston
February 16, 2024: Houston, MO 65483 Willow Springs Bears (Willow Springs, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Houston Tigers (Houston, MO), 56-46 in a league bout.
With the victory, Willow Springs upgrades its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Seymour (Seymour, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 11-11. Seymour lost 54-37 in their recent non-league bout against Greenwood (Springfield, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO) in a South Central bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 68-37 non-league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, MO).
