Michigan High School Basketball - Romulus holds off Melvindale
February 16, 2024: Melvindale, MI 48122 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI) and the host Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI), saw Romulus's basketball squad hold off Melvindale by a tally of 58-57.
With the victory, Romulus improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI) to confront the Gators in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 11-9.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Clarenceville Trojans (Livonia, MI) in a Western Wayne challenge, on Wednesday, February 21. Melvindale will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 71-49 non-league loss to Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI).
