Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL) and the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), saw Tolono Unity's basketball squad hold off St. Thomas More by a count of 48-46.

With the victory, Tolono Unity upgrades its record to 24-4 on the campaign.

Next up, the Sabers play the Urbana University Illineks (Urbana, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 19. St. Thomas More will attempt to upgrade on its 19-11 season record. The Illineks come into the challenge with a 5-19 record after their 44-42 non-league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL).
