The Westlake Thunder basketball team (Saratoga Springs, UT), was nudged 54-52 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Murray Spartans (Murray, UT)

The Spartans now sport a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Olympus for a 4A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, February 21. Murray will meet a Titans team coming off a 54-45 league win over Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT). The Titans record now stands at 14-6.

The Thunder (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Hillcrest (Midvale, UT). The Huskies come into the 4A Region 7 battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Hillcrest edged Herriman (West Herriman, UT), 49-48, in a league battle.
