February 17, 2022: Ashland, KY 41102 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY), saw Blazer's basketball squad hold off Bracken County by a tally of 83-76.
With the victory, Blazer improves its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Tomcats host Rose Hill Christian (Ashland, KY) to confront the Royals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 4-24. Rose Hill Christian lost 60-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Raceland (Raceland, KY)
Next up, the Polar Bears confront the St. Patrick Saints (Maysville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 21. Bracken County will attempt to improve on its 21-8 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 5-23 record after their 77-41 non-league win over Covington Latin (Covington, KY).
