New Jersey High School Basketball - Hackensack succumbs to Ridgewood
February 17, 2022: Ridgewood, NJ 07450 The Ridgewood Maroons topped the visiting Hackensack Comets basketball team by a final score of 50-37 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Maroons face the West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) in a Freelance game, on Tuesday, February 22. Ridgewood will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 2-8 record after their 51-15 non-league loss to Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ).
With the defeat, Hackensack moves to 4-10 on the year. The Comets travel to Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ) to face the Paladins in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 22. The Paladins enter the game with a record of 12-8. Paramus Catholic lost 48-45 in their recent league game against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ)
