Bay Port Pirates (Green Bay, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sheboygan South Redwings (Sheboygan, WI), 77-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Bay Port upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Pirates host Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 2-19. Eau Claire North lost 50-39 in their recent league bout against River Falls (River Falls, WI)

Next up, the Redwings play the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships (Manitowoc, WI) in a Fox River Classic bout, on Thursday, February 23. Sheboygan South will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Ships go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 73-53 league win over Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI).
