The Conestoga Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars to 35 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louisville for a non-league contest on Monday, February 20. Conestoga will battle a Lions team coming off a 50-42 non-league loss to Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE). The Lions record now stands at 7-16.

The Cougars (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE). The Jaguars enter the D1 District 4 contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Howells-Dodge was defeated by Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE), 38-37, in a non-league contest.
